carranza`s government

In 1908 is Deputy, Senator and Acting Governor of Coahuila.

It joins the revolutionary movement Madero in 1910. When this is killed, proclaimed the Plan de Guadalupe, in 1913, to ignore the Government of Victoriano Huerta.

In 1914 he breaks relations with Francisco Villa and rejects the decisions taken by the revolutionary leaders in the Convention of Aguascalientes. Carranza established his Government in Veracruz and Álvaro Obregón's troops defeated by Francisco Villa. So Carranza again in 1915 to the capital.

During his Government was drafted and promulgated the Constitution which still governs us, in the city of Querétaro in 19717. That year it takes possession as constitutional President.

For new elections in 1920, Carranza supports the candidature of Ignacio Bonilla, Ambassador of Mexico in the United States.UU.; against the wishes of Álvaro Obregón, Plutarco Elias Calles and the orchard. They lead a rising armed with the Plan of Agua Prieta and Carranza has to evacuate the city of Mexico and heads to the port of Veracruz with his entire Cabinet. On the way to the port, Carranza overnight in Tlaxcalantongo, Puebla, where is killed on May 21, 1920.
